[POV Ride] Fun on the A1

The A1 is 157 kilometres of motorway connecting Amsterdam with the German border. An efficient, straight-to-the-point road, perfect for going from A to B. Mostly straight, mostly fast, and not a scenic road, it gets a tiny peculiarity when it reaches Hengelo: a sequence of bends was named Kardinaalshoed — Cardinal's Hat, due to its resemblance to the headwear worn by one of the top churchmen. Apparently, even a seemingly boring motorway can have a little personality with a well-placed hat. 0:00:00 Amsterdam 0:00:21 Ouder-Amstel 0:01:23 Amsterdam 0:02:51 Diemen 0:05:39 Gooise Meren 0:14:02 Huizen 0:15:09 Laren 0:17:30 Eemnes 0:18:49 Baarn 0:21:39 Amersfoort 0:28:32 Barneveld 0:40:45 Apeldoorn 0:55:18 Voorst 0:59:34 Deventer 1:09:06 Rijssen-Holten 1:11:40 Hof van Twente 1:16:46 Wierden 1:19:47 Almelo 1:22:47 Borne 1:25:48 Hengelo 1:30:08 Dinkelland 1:31:53 Oldenzaal #motorcycle #pov #telemetry #roadTrip
